Co-Presidents Message
Welcome Back Winston Campus families, staff and friends!
On behalf of the Winston Campus Junior High PTA, we would
like to welcome all new and returning students, families, faculty and staff.
Whether you’ve been part of the Winston Campus community for a while or are new
this year, we welcome you to this great learning community and look forward to
working together for the benefit of all of the children at Winston Campus.
Throughout our monthly newsletter you will learn about the
many and varied programs and activities, as well as information, that the PTA
provides at our school.
Membership forms are included in the August Back to School
mailing and here on the website. Your membership is vital to helping us
accomplish all that we hope to achieve for and with our children at Winston
Campus this year. Please join the PTA! The PTA is made up of busy parents and
Winston Campus staff and faculty members. It is open to all members of our
community, as well.
To each of us, the education of our children here at Winston
Campus is extremely important. We each possess a unique set of talents,
experiences, knowledge and skills that we can share with the children at
Winston Campus in many ways. Our PTA can only be as effective as each of us
choose to make it by becoming an active part of the Winston Campus community.
We still need your support at the Junior High level!
We look forward to meeting you and getting to know
you--whether you are new to Winston Campus or were a part of the Winston Campus
community last year. Please be sure to plan to attend the Parent Orientation on
September 1st.
All parents are welcome at every PTA meeting. Get key
information from the PTA, teachers and Principal. This month’s meeting will be
held on Tuesday, August 30th at 6:45 in the Resource Center. Check the school
calendar for future meeting dates. Thanks to all who have been working over the
summer to help get ready for this 2011-2012 school year.
Come find out more about your school and what the PTA has
planned for this year, meet new and returning parents, and share your
enthusiasm and ideas.
